With a broad range of Europe-based customers across legal and finance industries, San Francisco-based Preempt looks to European market as major growth driver in 2019
SAN FRANCISCO and RAMAT GAN, Israel – January 23, 2019 – Preempt, the innovator of the industry’s first Identity and Access Threat Prevention solution that stops cyber attacks and internal threats, today announced the company is expanding its international presence with a Stockholm office, Europe-based customers and an expanded reseller program across the Eurozone.
“Preempt’s customer base in Europe, and particularly the UK, includes leading financial institutions and law firms, many of which face similar security challenges to enterprises in North America,” said Ajit Sancheti, Preempt co-founder and CEO. “We see tremendous market opportunities in the region, and we’re excited to provide the industry’s first Identity and Access Threat Prevention solution to a broad range of enterprises across Europe.”
“Credential compromise remains at the top of the list of how most breaches happen,” said Ian Morris, Founder at Secrutiny Ltd, a cyber audit and security monitoring company. “We integrate Preempt into our cyber security infrastructure monitoring platform to get advanced warnings of real time unusual behaviour. Any enterprise that is serious about cybersecurity has already recognised that credentials are the keys to the kingdom.”
Preempt’s Reseller Program allows value added partners to offer a solution that is easy to install, provides quick time to value and allows enterprises to gain more value out of their existing security investments with IAM, SSO, SIEM, PAM and more.
In fiscal 2018, Preempt enjoyed a banner year, with a more than 300 percent increase in annual recurring revenue and a near doubling of headcount. The company expanded its platform with the most comprehensive cloud threat prevention solution for the enterprise, as well as announcing $17.5 million in Series B funding, led by ClearSky Ventures. Preempt’s customers now include some of the world’s largest brands in retail, banking, and other sectors. Last week, EMA announced its ranking of Preempt as one of the top three security analytics providers for four major categories, including Risk Prioritization, Breach Avoidance and Account Compromise Monitoring.
