  • Director of Sales (United Kingdom)

    Location: United Kingdom

    The Director of Sales will be a sales executive with a demonstrated track record of success working for organizations that have a reputation for outstanding performance. This individual will be someone who has consistently overachieved in high growth environments and has actively contributed to building high-performance selling organizations. The role will require an individual to establish a results and performance-based culture while infusing an appropriate level of process and prioritization. A proven track record in information security and/or IAM software sales is required. Successful candidates in this role will have the possibility of helping to build and scale Preempt’s operations beyond the U.K.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage sales for Preempt Security in the U.K.
    • Manage pipeline, forecasting and revenue
    • Organize and manage multiple functions across the U.K. market, including but not limited to U.K. Enterprise field sales, mid-market sales, and MSSP partners
    • Develop and manage channel within the territory
    • Work with executive management to execute targeted sales campaigns to displace competitors, target major enterprise accounts, and build large partnerships

    Experience:

    • Successful experience selling B2B security and/or IAM software products
    • Successful experience building and executing a go-to-market strategy in the U.K.
    • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
    • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas
    • Successful experience selling at C-level
    • Successful experience working with and selling through the channel
    • At least 7 years software and/or enterprise software/SaaS sales experience
    • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers in key markets
    • Proven evangelical sales track record in a new product/new market environment

    Preempt Security enables Conditional Access to protect digital identities for over 100+ enterprise customers worldwide.  With a growing business, expansion in all geographies, and acceleration of partnerships, Preempt is a rocketship ready to launch.  To ensure we have enough fuel for this rocketship, we are looking for a strong marketing leader to drive our B2B digital and growth marketing efforts.  You will drive strategy and execution for the worldwide sales pipeline through metric driven analysis.  With the support of sales, product marketing, channel partners, vendors, and a strong customer advocacy you will have the tools to ensure success.  This is a unique opportunity to define strategy, execution, and technology decisions from start to finish.

    Your Impact to Preempt

    • Predictable pipeline revenue growth through the development of key metrics, reporting, and testing for a multi-channel approach
    • Plan, execute, and measure highly targeted, integrated programs for all inbound and outbound B2B digital demand generation channels, such as email, digital advertising, SEO, SEM, webinars, social, PR, and account-based marketing (ABM). 
    • Management of the demand generation budget and third-party providers, including vendors, freelancers and contractors.
    • Optimization of demand generation metrics and systems of the marketing technology stack including the use of Salesforce, Hubspot (or equivalent), Google Analytics, ABM software, social, and other tools. 
    • Collaboration with product marketing, sales, SDRs, channel partners, vendors, and others to drive predictable pipeline growth.

    Your Background and Experience

    • 5+ years of B2B experience with a strong focus on ABM, digital marketing and lead generation, and nurturing campaigns
    • Track record of impactful metrics such as lead and opportunity creation, velocity and conversion rates,  through the demand pipeline stages 
    • Deep experience with managing and measurement of campaigns through Hubspot, or equivalent (ie Marketo), for B2B markets
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile and deadline-driven environment in a growing, startup environment
    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA desirable 
    • Experience in Identity/Security marketing preferred
