Backend Developer

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel

In this role you will develop features and key components of an enterprise security system. If you have a passion for designing, developing and building high performance solutions that solve key enterprise challenges, this is the role for you.

Tech Stack: Java, Python, Node.js, MongoDB, Linux, Active Directory


  • Play a key role in the design, implementation and deployment of an enterprise security system, which includes advanced management features and cloud service components
  • Develop efficient and practical solutions for complex problems


  • Programming mastery in Java or C# + Python or Node.js
  • 3+ years of industry experience building backend modules of distributed systems

Senior Support Engineer

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support for Preempt‘s products. You will be in charge of the smooth operations of system installed in our rapidly growing customer base. The technical horizon is fast-paced and rapidly changing, with a diverse customer needs and frequent product updates.


  • Deliver effective technical customer support to a wide array of customers different verticals
  • Take ownership of technical issues and work with the Dev and Ops team to resolve more advanced cases
  • Document troubleshooting, guides and problem resolution steps
  • Participate in regular remote sessions and calls with customers in the US and UK timezones


  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Support Engineer, providing low-level hands-on support for an enterprise and small organizations systems
  • Proven technical knowledge in Linux, Networking, Microsoft Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Experience with HyperV and Vmware ESXi – advantage
  • High proficiency in Linux Bash and scripting

Sr Systems Engineer

Location: Maryland, California

As a Senior Systems Engineer (SSE), you will be responsible for managing pre-sales technical & functional support to sales teams, partners, prospective clients and customers while building strong customer relationships. With a proven track record of successful sales support activity, the Sr. Systems Engineer will present and articulate the capabilities and values of Preempt Security solution. You will work with Preempt’s Account managers, Systems Engineers and Sales Leadership to qualify opportunities and convert opportunities into successful engagements.

The SSE must combine excellent sales support and consultative skills with an expert understanding of advanced and emerging security technologies with an emphasis on Behavior Analytics.  By combining technical expertise with business acumen, this role provides vital, detailed information about how Preempt Security delivers business value to our clients. We have several positions available including New York, Maryland and California. Location is negotiable. Work remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a technical presentations and product demo to potential customers and partners
  • Responsible for running all aspects of Proof of Concept with potential customers including scoping, installing, tracking, documenting and presenting the results
  • Possess expert competitive knowledge including solutions, technology, and product offerings
  • Provide training as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to customers, partners and members of the team
  • Assist with SE new hire on-boarding and mentor new hire SE’s in your territory.
  • Develop and build strategic corporate relationships with our customers
  • Provide input to the Product Management team with input on customer need

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as Systems Engineer selling to Enterprise companies

  • Develop content that speaks to Preempts business value for our C-level buyers and decision makers
  • Be the subject matter expert on Preempt customers; what they want and their purchasing criteria
  • Evangelize and promote the story of Preempt by speaking at industry events, webinars and with analysts
  • Assess the market landscape, provide market analysis, identify target markets, define ideal customer profiles and buyer personas

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 8+ years of Product Marketing, Product Management or Technical Marketing experience
  • Past experience at an IT security company
  • Proven history of creating product marketing strategies and managing successful product launches and campaigns

Professional Services Engineer

Location: US (remote)

We are seeking an experienced, organized self-starter to work as a Professional Services Engineer. This individual will be responsible for post-sales implementation while also building strong customer relationships. Successful candidates must have a proven track record in professional services roles.

Preempt Professional Services must combine excellent project management and consultative skills with an expert understanding of advanced and emerging security technologies with an emphasis on Behavioral Analytics and Identity & Access Management.  By combining technical expertise with business acumen, this role provides vital, detailed information about how Preempt Security delivers business value to our clients. This role is ideally located in the central US.

As a Sr. Professional Services Engineer, you will:

  • Lead installation, configuration, integration and training engagements for current Preempt Security customers
  • Provide training, troubleshooting, and on-site support to customers including version upgrades
  • Prepare professional documentation such as statements of work, change orders and systems documentation to include as-built design, requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide input to Preempt Product Management and Engineering on designs, product updates, and Operations and Maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Support Preempt sales campaigns with large, strategic opportunities as it relates to enterprise architectures, scalability and/or custom integrations
  • Mentor and coach junior security engineers


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience clients and internal resources in face-to-face, telephone, virtual meetings and the ability to work and interact as a member of a group or team
  • Requires logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
